As a Stretch & Bobbito fan growing up, it’s an honor to discuss career paths with Stretch for On Air Festival at The Wythe Hotel (B’klyn, NY) this weekend. With the numerous reinventions I’ve gone through since the late ‘90s - hip-hop producer/artist; to DJ/writer/author and eventually, drummer - trying to cram it all on one website was a mess. My pivot to drumming in 2011 was entirely unplanned and my prior website was designed to promote a book. Finding more focus and abandoning being a jack-of-a-zillion trades over the last decade, I decided to repurpose my site as HQ for my work and path as a drummer... and start going by my actual name. Big steps. Ha! Thanks for tuning in.
