New Music Alert! The Du-Rites: “Neckbones (Live)” & “Gittin’ Sound”
Now up on Bandcamp, a lil digital single to hold you over till the Soundcheck at 6 live album is released in September.
“Neckbones (Live)” is the first single from the album. We put a bluesy spin on one of the jams from our first LP for the live show.
“Gittin’ Sound” is just that – a candid (and mistakenly overdriven) drum track and a melody we were messing with while warming up and getting levels for the live album during soundcheck. It was too funky not to use, so we overdubbed some things on top to complete it into an oddball bonus track.
