(More) Vampire Weekend

In addition to the lead single, “Capricorn,” my drums also appear on “Hope” from the new Vampire Weekend album (Only God Was Above Us). This one’s an “additional drums” credit – the rolls and kicks and snares were sampled from me and added to the existing drum track. There’s nothing I enjoy more than laying a groove down so I’m honored to have session drumming credits with this kind of diversity over the last decade. Peep it below:

With the numerous reinventions I’ve gone through since the late ‘90s - hip-hop producer/artist; to DJ/writer/author and eventually, drummer - trying to cram it all on one website was a mess. My pivot to drumming in 2011 was entirely unplanned and my prior website was designed to promote a book. Finding more focus and abandoning being a jack-of-a-zillion trades over the last decade, I decided to repurpose my site as HQ for my work and path as a drummer... and start going by my actual name. Big steps. Ha! Thanks for tuning in.
