In 2015 I launched Give the Drummer Some, a column in which I interview some of the greatest and most influential funk drummers of all time. At the time I was about 3-4 years into drumming and a sponge for information and music nerdery in general. The column has not only answered all the questions I’ve had for up to 30 years as a music junkie, but helped me in starting my own drumming career and making the best moves I can.
